Man (40s) seriously injured in Co Roscommon collision
The driver, a man aged in his 40s, was transferred to Sligo University Hospital with serious injuries.

A man has been seriously injured following a collision in Co Roscommon on Friday morning.
Gardaí and emergency services attended a scene of a single-vehicle accident, which happened on the R370 at Lurgan, Frenchpark, Co Roscommon, at approximately 6am today.
The driver, a man aged in his 40s, was transferred to Sligo University Hospital with serious injuries.
“No other injuries were reported”, a Garda spokesperson said.

The road is currently closed for a technical examination by forensic collision investigators, and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are now appealing for witnesses of this incident to contact them.
Anyone who was in the R370 Lurgan area between 5.50am and 6.10am and may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact investigating gardaí.
Any road users who were travelling in this vicinity at the time and may have camera footage, including dash cam, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
