Conor McGregor posts drugs test result proving he is a 'clean athlete'
Conor McGregor has already vowed to return to the octagon next year and wants to fight twice in 2025.
Conor McGregor has posted his drug test results and has demanded a fight-date from UFC bosses.
Writing on X, the Dublin fighter says he is the “most tested” athlete on the UFC roster – and claims he now deserves clarity on a date to return to the octagon.
McGregor’s post on X, formerly known as Twitter, also includes a screenshot of an email from a testing company showing his most result sample tested negative for drugs.
He writes: “Most tested athlete on the @ufc roster x2. I deserve my fight date! #CleanAthlete.”
The email shows how the Crumlin-born MMA star has passed his most recent drugs test, taken on 13 September.
I reads: "We are pleased to inform you that sample number E004244 that you provided on 13 September 2024 returned a NEGATIVE result from the lab.
"Thank you for your contribution to supporting a clean UFC.”

Conor McGregor has already vowed to return to the octagon next year and wants to fight twice in 2025.
McGregor had been due to fight Michael Chandler in June but McGregor suffered a broken toe, delaying the fight indefinitely.
Last weekend, Chandler announced he would take on Charles Oliveira in November
McGregor expressed his frustration at the situation but is adamant he will fight next year.
“It will be 2025,” he told DAZN at Wembley Stadium, attending Anthony Joshua’s stunning defeat by Daniel Dubois.
“We will see. My opponent that I had scheduled... it is what it is. I take it on board and rock on. My job is to go to the gym and be in shape, whenever it is and wherever it is. I will be 100 per cent ready.”

Earlier this month, Dana White said he did not believe McGregor would return to the octagon until 2025.
“Amid all the talk and everything else, even [with] the fight being set up in the press conference [after UFC 300 in April].
“Conor McGregor will fight next year, early 2025. He’s had so much time off. As far as the hunger, he’s a very wealthy guy. We’ll find out.
“We’ll find out when he comes back, but he is definitely one of the big superstars of the sport that elevated the UFC all throughout Europe and other parts of the world. He’s been a big star and a great partner for us.”
McGregor is without a win in almost five years. His last victory came in January 2020 when he stopped Donald Cerrone in 40 seconds.
