Shane Lowry was left bemused during an interview ahead of the final event of the FedEx Cup, after he confirmed he would love to have a drink with Oasis brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher.
The Manchester rock giants ended their long-running feud when they confirmed they will be playing a host of concerts next summer, including a couple of nights at Croke Park in Dublin.
So when he was asked by FanDuel presenter Ali McCann to name the celebrity he would most like to grab a beer with, Irish Ryder Cup hero Lowry was quick to suggest the Oasis brothers.
"I'd love to have a drink with Oasis," Lowry said. "You know Oasis are back together?"

A confused McCann replied: "I don't even know..."
"You don't know who Oasis are?” Lowry responded. "Oh my god... you're obviously way younger than me.
"This is like the biggest news ever. You need to look them up."
McCann looked embarrassed as she replied: "I'm so sorry, I'll do that immediately after this."
Lowry saw the funny side of the exchange as he added: "She doesn't know Oasis, blasphemy."
McCann said: "No, no, I'm sorry. I just ruined this whole interview. I'm so sorry."
